Food Inspection and Training Ltd. (F.I.T.) successfully participated in Posidonia 2014, sharing a stand with Magsaysay Maritime Corporation of the Philippines, one of the world’s leaders in providing crew to the some of the highest echelons of the shipping industry. Both companies teamed up together earlier 2014 to provide service to the shipping companies to assist them to comply with MLC 2006 Regulation 3.2 “Food and Catering”. F.I.T. carry out on-board training and audits, inspecting and training crew in Food Safety Management (HACCP) in line with the MLC 2006 Regulation 3.2. The stand was visited by number of Shipowners and Shipmanagers from all over the world and new assignments were in place for F.I.T.
